Where are I/O modules installed on a PM8000 meter

User wants to know where to install I/O modules on a PM8000 meter.

*Warning:  Installation and maintenance of this device should only be performed by qualified, competent personnel that have appropriate training and experience with high voltage and current devices. Failure to follow the instructions / warnings in the Meter Installation Guide can result in permanent damage to the meter, severe injury or death.

There are 2 methods to install I/O modules on a PM8000 meter. The method to choose will depend on your PM8000 model number

If meter is PM8240 (Panel mount meter with integrated display)
I/O module to be installed on the back of the meter.
1) remove connector's cover on back of the meter
2) Make sure that connectors on meter and I/O module align with each other. Attach I/O module to the back of the meter.
3) secure the I/O module in its location by a 5mm (5/16 in) screw
4) reattach connector's cover that was removed in step 1 to the back of I/O module

If meter is either PM8243 or PM8244 (DIN rail mount meter)
I/O module to be installed on the side of the meter:
1) remove connector's cover from side of the meter
2) Hang the I/O module on your DIN rail
3) Secure I/O module to the DIN rail using Mounting clip.
4) Move I/O module using the DIN rail and attach it to the PM8000 meter> You should hear a click.
5) Secure the I/O module to the meter using a 5mm (5/16 in) screw.
6) reattach connector's cover that was removed in step 1 to the back of I/O module
