Eurotherm by Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager reporting in to our Ashburn, VA location. 
 
Eurotherm is seeking a passionate business development professional to lead, manage, and execute its North American SCR power control growth strategy. Are you a strategic thinker? What do you get to do in this position? 
  • Manage: Manage the daily commercial requirements of the Eurotherm SCR power product line
  • Develop: Develop a strategic growth plan to include product positioning and messaging within existing core markets as well as research and analysis into new markets
  • Collaborate: Collaborate with the Direct channel manager to engage in turnkey solution sales and enhance the after-market Service Level Agreement offerings
  • Engage: Engage in strategic analysis of the Eurotherm indirect sales channel alongside the Indirect channel manager to identify and implement key distribution channel growth drivers
  • Grow: Facilitate OEM growth in collaboration with the Territory Sales Management team and the OEM channel manager to expand the product sales within new and existing OEM accounts
  • Sell: Engage in customer-facing activities such as face to face and virtual selling as well as the delivery of product sales and technical training

This job might be for you if:
  • You have Electrical Power Knowledge and are familiar with SCR Power Control, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), or electrical transformer theory
  • You have broad Industry Knowledge including knowledge of and experience with electrical power or heating applications, or Industrial Energy Management
  • You are a Strategic Thinker with significant experience in creating, executing, and managing comprehensive business development plans
  • You are a Planner with strong familiarity in short-term action planning as well as long-term strategic planning 
  • You have the ability to design and deliver both technical and application training to both internal and external stakeholders
  • You are a Team Player and work well leading as well as following in group or project settings
