Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has announced its Vice President Digital Buildings Louise Monger has been selected as a member of the esteemed Chief Executive Women (CEW). 

The membership marks noteworthy recognition of Louise’s continuous leadership and contributions to the industry over many years and will see her work hand in hand with over 1,000 influential women, all of who hold leading roles in Australia's largest private and public organisations. 

“It’s important to continue the discussion around gender diversity and empowering women to challenge themselves in the workforce. I am delighted to be invited to join a credible organisation such as CEW, where I will have the opportunity to assist in advancing gender equality in the workplace,” said Louise Monger, Vice President Digital Buildings at Schneider Electric.

CEW represents prominent and influential women leaders from the corporate, public service, academic, and not-for-profit sectors. Each member has a shared vision of “Women Leaders Enabling Women Leaders” and works directly with CEW to create awareness of women’s business capabilities. 

Part of Louise’s role as Vice President Digital Buildings, sees her responsible for energy management and automation solutions for the built environment while leading a team of 350 people servicing customers across healthcare, real estate, transport, data centres, and education sectors. 

Since her commencement at Schneider Electric in 2020, Louise has become an established thought leader in the property technology industry and is regularly sought out to share her career experience. She is also a change agent through her important role of Deputy Chair for Schneider’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council.

    Louise Monger leads the Digital Buildings business in the Pacific Zone, delivering energy management and automation solutions for the built environment. The division’s 350-strong team services customers in healthcare, real estate, transport, data centres, and education. Prior to joining Schneider Electric in November 2020, Louise was the Program Director for Technology and Innovation at AMP Capital, ensuring delivery of client and business value from technology investment, and leading real estate's digital and innovation team. Before that, Louise was the Head of Property Management, accountable for the overall property management performance of the AMP Capital Office and Logistics portfolio. Louise has over 20 years' experience in technical and leadership roles across a range of sectors and disciplines. Louise is a respected thought leader in the real estate technology industry and has spoken on many panels domestically and internationally. She is also a known voice on diversity and inclusion in the industry.Louise has over 20 years' experience in technical and leadership roles across a range of sectors and disciplines, including real estate, facilities management, and working as an electrician in the mining industry. This diverse experience underpins her passion for how people and technology can shape real estate experiences and improve the world we live in. Louise holds a Masters of Facilities Management and remains a qualified electrician.
