What causes 'fatal error - cannot execute MACHNM1.EXE' when installing or launching ProWORX 32?

Published date: 15 June 2020

This will occur when the skcl.dll is not registered. First, verify that the file is present in the Windows\Sysytem 32 folder.

If skdl.dll is present present it can be registered by executing the following steps.
Step 1: From a command prompt, type "Run".
Step 2: Browse to \Winnt\System32\ folder or \Windows\System32 folder.
 Step 3: Type: 'regsvr32 skcl.dll' <OK>
A message box should be displayed saying that 'DllRegisterServer inc:\Winnt\System32\skcl.dll succeeded.'
