How does the Sepam Relay Series 20, 40 and 80 time synch function using the pulse input?

A synchronization clock sends pulses to input I21 (series 20, 40)


and input I103 (series 80) every 10 to 60 seconds.



This external clock must be operational before Sepam relay.
The synchronization function takes effect following a time-set.
The relay learns the interval based on the rising edges of the first two received pulses at a logical input (I21).
Thereafter, resetting is based on the measurement of the difference between the relay internal clock and the logical input pulse.
