How to configure the communications parity setting on a Series 2000 Circuit Monitor.

Cause:  
The parity on a Series 2000 Circuit Monitor is set to "even" by default. A user may wish to change this to "none".

Resolution:  
The procedure below explains how to change the parity in a Series 2000 Circuit Monitor (CM2).

This process can be preformed from the front panel of the meter or using a communications software that can write to registers on the meter.
Refer to the CM2 reference manual for steps on reading and writing registers from the front panel.

To set parity to "none", write a decimal 2326 to register 7700.
Then write a decimal value of 1110 to register 7700.
The meter will then reboot and the new setting will be configured. The meter will display a "n+baudrate" (n9600, n2400, n4800, n19200) for the baud rate when viewing the settings from the configuration menu on the front panel of the meter.

To set the parity back to the factory default (Even Parity), Write a decimal 2325 to register 7700.
Then write a decimal value of 1110 to register 7700.
The meter will then reboot and the setting will be configured
