"Error Loading Service Inventory" error in Power Monitoring Expert

The following exception occurs in the SystemLog:

Description: Error loading service inventory
Exception: System.ServiceModel.EndpointNotFoundException: There was no endpoint listening at http://ted-pc:23102/CoreServicesHost/Inventory/InventoryService that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote name could not be resolved: 'ted-pc' at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetRequestStream(TransportContext& context) at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetRequestStream() at System.ServiceModel.Channels.

1. In the above, 'ted-pc' refers to old server name (the server was renamed).
2. It is assumed that the system is put back in service and the system is operational. All components (Management Console, Designer, Vista, Web) are in working condition (not the topic of discussion in this article).
3. Even though the system is fully operational, the events occur approximately every 25 minutes.

The problem was caused as a result of renaming the server.  

*Warning: Take backups of any files prior to modifying them. Ensure the backups are in a location that will not be overwritten (i.e. the Desktop). 

1. Navigate to the '...\Power Monitoring Expert\System\ReportDataService' folder.
2. Open (Edit) the Web.config file in a text editor such as Notepad.
3. Change all occurrences of the old server name to the new server name and save the file.
4. Restart all ION services.
