Murdoch University embraces technology with EcoStruxure™ IT

The Challenge

With aging IT infrastructure, Murdoch University wanted to invest in a new space, an IT innovation hub where student can access 24/7 and experience the latest and greatest computing can offer. The challenge we were trying to solve included:

• Building a robust and reliable IT innovation hub for an immersive learning experience

• Offering a 24/7 digital work space for students and teachers

• Enable monitoring of the entire Innovation space, so that Murdoch Uni IT officer can proactively manage and control problems that arise.

The Results

• Helped students understand real-life working environments by emulating the IT equipment and software they will see once they enter the job market.

• Improved learning, research and teaching facilities through the 24/7 Innovation hub.

• Remote monitoring of IT infrastructure, enabling proactive response and maintenance of IT.

• First institution in Western Australia to have this infrastructure.
