What you will do:

In the context of the Power Product Commercial Transformation within Energy Management, the incumbent is to be part of the Power Product Commercial Transformation team for EAJ, Pacific and Hong Kong.

The Channel Development Manager is responsible for understanding the business needs and identifying how to best understand/adapt and deploy actions in order to accelerate the transformation:

  • Establish, Adapt & Deploy the Channel Program in assigned countries.
  • Drive Channel’s growth offer penetration and saturation for all applicable offer portfolio.
  • Champion digital initiatives (offer, tools, resources) and lead digital transformation in assigned channels.

Channels

  • Establish, adapt, and deploy Channel Programs in assigned countries, aligned to business/division.
  • Drive channel’s growth offer penetration and saturation with all applicable Schneider Electric offer portfolio.
  • Identify with the countries the Tools/Assets/Training Requirements necessary for channel support;
  • Organize Channel Training delivery, with countries and central support.
  • Organize Customers Training delivery, with countries and central support.

Support and contribution

  • Channel Central Program strategy, definition and playbook;
  • Tools/Assets/Training Development;

Commercial

  • Ensure Commercial Policy and Pricing strategy are in place and in practice.
  • Drive Annual Marketing & Sales Plan (AMSP) process in countries with alignment and handshake of initiatives (bricks), actions plan, ambition setting and investment.
  • Run country cadence to ensure objectives met and support being addressed for AMSP's execution
  • Lead assigned/specific growth initiatives of Commercial Transformation team.

Support and contribution

  • Commercial Policy Guidelines creation, with central team;
  • AMSP creation and preparation, with central team;

Offer

  • Support Offer Marketing in offers penetration and increase Vitality Index (VI) in assigned channels
  • Maximise the potential of offer saturation in assigned channels.
  • Support deployment of Power Story / Combo / Solution in assigned channels.

Support and contribution

  • Offer discussion of Operational Offer Marketing (OOM) in zone and Application Marketing in Hub/Division
  • Be voice of the channel in Offer Ideation/Creation discussion.

Digital

  • Champion digital transformation by deployment of Digital offers, tools and software.
  • Drive Digital engagement (Exchange, Seamless/PRM) to increase Monthly Active Users (MAU).
  • Drive Customer Software Tool adoption to increase Monthly active users (MAU).
  • Drive Digital offer (Facility Expert, Digital Logbook) to increase Asset Under Management (AUM) and its monetization.
  • Facilitate eCommerce deployment and drive digital animation with channels.
  • Facilitate Customer Lifecycle software adoption and synergy.

Qualifications

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 8-12 years in similar Channel Sales and development function with commercial and Marketing experience with Electrical Engineering companies (E.g. Panel builders, contractors)
  • Relevant Digital, Software and Services Deployment experience
  • Ability to document requirements, user stories and make pilot runs
  • Ability to translate customers’ needs into implementable features
  • Analytical and strategic skills to assess and define proper channel commercial policy, offer mix and price structure of channels
