Issue:
ATV61 with CT applications.

Cause:
The Altivar 61 drive is designed for a variable torque application which means it does not generate more than 120% starting torque.

Resolution:
For a list of the maximum transient current ratings at 60 seconds please see the ATV61 Installation Manual.
For ATV61 in a constant torque application see the attached document "Applying the Altivar 61 AC Drive in Constant Torque Applications".  This provides guidance on the constant torque applications the ATV 61 drive is best suited to.
