Check your local regulations. Schneider Electric recommends connecting an Mx or MNx accessory to EVlink Home to increase people's protection.
For countries without national exception: EVlink Home (& Smart) fulfill the following requirement from IEC 61851-1 Ed3.0 standard: the minimum opening of the contact equal to the clearance according to IEC 60664-1 considering overvoltage category 3 (e.g. the value given in IEC 60664-1 for 230 V/400 V is 4 kV rated impulse voltage withstand that implies at least 3 mm separation of contacts) and the MNx is not mandatory.
