Our commitment for climate actions

Our Net-Zero target has been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), we are fully committed to the Climate Group EP100, RE100, and EV100 to develop a roadmap aligned with the IPCC scenario limiting global average temperature rise to 1.5°C:

• Carbon neutral operations in 2025
• 25% absolute carbon reduction across our entire value chain by 2030, and "Net-Zero ready" in our operations
• End-to-end carbon neutral value chain in 2040
• Net-Zero CO₂ emissions across our entire value chain in 2050

Our commitment to renewable energy has deeply transformed our electricity sourcing strategy. To deliver the set targets, we will leverage four complementary tools: green tariffs, renewable certificates, power purchase agreements, and on-site generation.

Our target is to double our energy productivity by 2030 against the 2005 baseline by doubling the economic output from every unit of energy consumed within 25 years.

By 2025, thanks to our energy and sustainability services, integrated EcoStruxure™ software and solutions, as well as green product innovations, effectively decarbonising homes, buildings, grids, data centres and industries.

At Schneider Electric, we support the top 1,000 suppliers to reduce their CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2025. With a dedicated decarbonization program, our partners gain access to training sessions, expert support, tools, and solutions they need to accelerate and deliver on their sustainability goals.

Our sustainability consulting services and solutions help a growing number of organisations set, measure and advance on their carbon reduction targets, through the deployment of bespoke programmes, including engagement with suppliers.
