What is the function of the "Alarm" pilot light on the STR22SE, STR23SE and STR53UE electronic trip units.

The Alarm pilot light is an overload indicator light.

It is:
Lit with a steady light if the load current is greater than 90% of the adjustment threshold Ir
Flashing if the load current is greater than 105% of the adjustment threshold Ir. The circuit breaker will trip if the light continues to flash.
