The L-TRI 5 range of switch disconnectors, incorporating proven flat-chamber arcing technology, can perform a wide variety of switching functions in Medium Voltage distribution systems.By omitting the arc quenching device (flat explosion chamber and arcing blade), the L-TRI 5 switch disconnector can be used as a disconnector, type TRI 5. Because of the integrated rapid ON/OFF switching feature of the drive, the disconnector has the same short-circuit making capacity as the switch disconnector.
