Why does the Battery State of Charge on my SRT UPS LCD display stay at zero?

Issue:
The Battery State of Charge displayed on the LCD Display stays at zero, even though the battery module voltage is appropriate.

Product Line:
Smart-UPS On-Line SRT

Resolution:
Perform the following steps to restore the state of charge:

1) Disconnect the internal battery connector
2) Wait for the Connect Battery alarm to appear on the LCD Display.
3) Reconnect the internal battery connector.
4) Wait for New Battery prompt to appear on the LCD Display.
5) Select Yes.
6) Initiate a self-test.
