How is the eliminated phase current calculated in the PowerLogic PM5000 series meters for 3P3W - 2CT systems?

Issue
The user wants to know how I2 (or the eliminated phase current) in a 3P3W system is calculated when there are 2 CTs wired.

Cause

Resolution
In a PM5000 series meter, for a 3P3W 2CT connection, I2 will be eliminated by default.
I1 or I3 can also be eliminated by selection. In this condition the eliminated phase current (I2) value will be calculated as:

This formula is based on the cosine rule.
