Issue:
Getting a Flashing 'E and can't be cleared on an ATV212 (or S-Flex) with power cycle or fault reset input.
Product Line:
Altivar 212
Environment:
All
Cause:
Flashing 'E' on the display doesn't clear with a power cycle or fault reset input activation as it should
Resolution:
Normally, a flashing 'E' should be cleared by cycling power to the drive or by activating a logic input assigned to fault reset.
However, there have been cases where neither of these remedies cleared the flashing 'E'.
In these situations try keeping the fault reset logic input activated (maintain 24V on the input) while cycling power to the drive.
Make sure the drive's display goes all the way out before restoring line voltage to the drive.
When the drive powers back up, deactivate the fault reset input.
This should clear the flashing 'E'.
