Biography

David leads Schneider Electric’s UK & Ireland operations, a region that is pivotal to Schneider Electric’s growth ambitions in Europe. He is responsible for driving strategic growth across the UK and Ireland at a time of rapidly increasing electricity demand.

David brings deep expertise and a customer-first focus to the role, shaped by nine years in senior leadership positions across Schneider Electric. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President for Industrial Automation Strategic Accounts, leading global initiatives across automation and control solutions. Prior to this, he headed the UK&I Power Systems business, where he oversaw the deployment of cutting-edge technologies supporting the shift to renewable generation, EVs, rail electrification and shore-to-ship electric charging.

An electrical and electronics engineer by training, he brings extensive experience in renewable electricity generation, energy management and energy efficiency. Before joining Schneider Electric, David held senior roles at ENGIE, SSE, E.ON, Severn Trent Water, AES and RWE Npower. Connect with David on LinkedIn.
