Causes and Fixes

GPF occurs on PCs where the Environment-Variable "PATH" contains a path with around 600 Bytes. To reduce the path length, you can deinstal programs, which have inserted directory names in the path string. You can also edit the path variable and delete not needed directories:
Control Panel \ System \ Advanced \ Environment variables
