What will happen to altivar drives connected downstream in a Ethernet IP daisy chain configuration, if one of the VFDs is powered down?

Issue:
If the drives are daisy chained and one drive is shut down, communication will be lost?

Product Line:
Altivar 71, Altivar 61, Altivar 32

Environment:
All drive serial number with Ethernet communication option card installed

Cause:
N/A

Resolution
 The drives down stream from the one that is shut down will loose communication with the PLC.
The drives between the PLC and the drive broken in the chain will maintain communications.
