How do you assemble the Star-Delta using the LAD93217 Kit?

This video shows how to assemble the Star-Delta Kit with the three contactors.

The selection used would be suitable for a 22kW motor at 400Vac, we would recommend an LRD22 overload for this combination.

The Kit LAD93217 can be used in the following combinations:

kW at 415V ACMotor FLC (A)Line ContactorDelta ContactorStar ContactorStar-Delta KitOverload Current (FLC x 0.58)Recommended Overload

List of parts used in this Video:

  • LC1D25F7   Line Contactor - 110Vac coil
  • LC1D25F7   Delta Contactor - 110Vac coil
  • LC1D09F7   Star Contactor - 110Vac coil
  • LAD93217   Star-Delta Kit (Including Timer)

The pre-assembled LC3D***** star-delta contactors of this size are no longer a standard stocked item in the UK, however the combinations can be assembled for 7.5 - 132kW motors using Star-Delta Kits (LAD*), contactors and overloads.
