The ASCO Model 136 SPDs are single-pair telephone or data line protectors that implement advanced two-stage hybrid design. The Model 136 for Phone Systems is nearly identical to the Alarm System SPD except without the shorting bars. Protected equipment such as modems are plugged into the female modular jack on the Model 136.
