    I joined Schneider Electric 8 years ago as a Software Developer/ Designer for the new Human Machine Interface product back then. Post joining as a core developer in the newly formed agile team, I was also the Scrum Master.

    After 2 years of software development in the HMI team, I moved on to become the Product Owner for HMI Build time – responsible for feature development, product innovation, product training & customer projects.

    My current designation is Associate General Manager – Pricing & SIMPLIFY in International Operations. I enjoyed the ‘variety’ of roles I had in my 4 years at R&D. This inspired me to further don newer hats to explore & learn from different teams.

    My supervisor and team mates were supportive in enabling a smooth shift from R&D to one of the commercial teams. The rest as they say, is history.

    If one is keen in studying the life cycle of a product i.e. right from the conception stage - development - delivery – launch – market – sell – saturate & back to innovating again, there are huge learning prospects spread across R&D, Commercial & GSC businesses at Schneider Electric.

    “I joined Schneider Electric in October 2013 as an Assistant Manager in Finance Shared Services (FiSS), Bangalore. I have changed 2 roles since – as Deputy Manager (Financial Planning & Accounting) Philippines on a short term assignment, and then Business Analyst FP&A Sydney.

    Primary motivation for me to look for role changes was to get exposure to new areas in Finance. The chance to travel and explore new cultures has been an icing on the cake.

    During my time here, I have held roles varying from a GET to an IT Demand Management Specialist to Support and Delivery Lead and finally to AGM: Application Security and Compliance.

    During the transition, I always found support from all stakeholders involved - HRBPs, Managers and more

    Leadership however, was the biggest enabler. The encouragement and their support to help me grow was outstanding.
