Soft Starters

Schneider Electric India has come up with a range of soft starter that reduces the power required to a starting up an ac device. It reduces the potential damage caused by electrical and mechanical shocks. It avoids current inrush from starting up large motors that can result in anything from irregular power flow to brownouts. Soft starters are used in various processes and machines, mainly on application pumps, compressors, fans and conveyors.
