Issue:
External 24vdc digital output from PLC wiring to the input of the ATV21/212 drives?

Cause:
Needs to wire in an external 24vdc digital output from a PLC into the drive.
Resolution:
Make sure the Source, CLP, Sink dip switch is set to CLP.
Example of PLC with a sourcing output.
ON the ATV21 or ATV212 drive jumper PLC and CC together. Then wire the PLC and CC to 0V on the external PLC or Power supply.
Next run your external 24vdc digital output from your PLC controller to the F, R or RES inputs of the drive.
Example of PLC with a sinking output.
On the ATV21 or ATV212 drive jumper CC to 0V and jumper the ATVs PLC connection to external +24vdc supply.
The PLC controllers output will wire to F, R, RES inputs of the drive.
