"Updates are available" pop up messages appear after upgrading PowerChute Personal Edition to version 3.0.2

Cause:
If you are seeing updates are available pop up messages appearing after upgrading PowerChute Personal Edition 3.X to version 3.0.2 this indicates that the APC Data Service has been stopped.
Solution:
To resolve the issue restart the APC Data Service.
On Windows Vista and Windows 7 go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
Double click on APC Data Service and select start.
