Power Factor PF = P/S -> This is the ratio of active power and apparent power.
PowerTag calculates the apparent power with the following method S = Irms * Urms
RMS value of current (and voltage) includes the harmonic content
=> As a consequence, harmonics in the current are taken into account with this method
As a result, the method used by PowerTag gives an Apparent Power greater than the one produced by Energy Meters like IEM2000 or iEM3000 series , and consequently a worse PF.
