Schneider Electric Hosts first Innovation for Industries Conference in Lagos

Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, has announced the commencement of its Innovation for Industries Conference which holds on October 3rd, 2017 in Lagos. The conference will feature the presentation of the latest innovative automation solutions from Schneider Electric’s cutting edge EcoStruxure platform, as well as networking opportunities with industry leaders.

Commenting on the conference, Balaji Lenka, Managing Director, Anglophone West Africa, Schneider Electric said, “Nigerian companies can no longer afford to miss out on the operational efficiency and long-term savings provided by our smart, inter-connected solutions. This is what this conference is about; complete end-to-end offer which no other company can bring to its customers today. This conference will help the companies discover how EcoStruxure can support their businesses”.

Lenka described EcoStruxure as a system architecture which opens possibilities across various markets. “EcoStruxure is our internet of things (IoT)-enabled open and interoperable system architecture which enables a broad spectrum of solutions and possibilities across Building, Data Center, Industry, and Infrastructure. The data centre market, for instance has already recorded successes to the tune of 75% maintenance time costs, 30% reduction in power and cooling costs as well as a 59% capital expenditure savings”.

Roger Rebelo, General Manager, Process Automation, Schneider Electric said that EcoStruxure’s three-tiered technology stack distinguishes it from the pack: connected products, edge control and apps, analytics, and services, that can also operate with third-party equipment.

The conference is open to participants upon registration.
