Eko Atlantic City is a revolutionary urban development reclaimed from the ocean, commencing in 2006 and currently in its fourth phase of development. This futuristic city is designed with sustainability in mind, serving as a model for climate-friendly urban planning.

A key deliverable to residents of the city is 99% electricity availability. Downtimes need to be resolved asap as the city promises 24 hours supply of electricity.

Eko Atlantic turned to Schneider Electric for medium voltage switchgear, enabling the reliability, protection, control, and monitoring of their electrical distribution network.

We made use of Schneider Electric's innovative medium voltage switchgear – SM6, F400 and DVCAS, enabling us achieve the guaranteed 99% electrical availability in the city.
