IOserver name selected by the IODevice is case sensitive for PLScada 7.20 but not for PLScada 7.10. This is important when migrating from version 7.10 to 7.20.

This is an issue that can occur when you are adding devices manually using Excel or Open Office. In PLScada 7.10 when you are adding your devices in the 'units.dbf' you have to make sure that the 'IOServer' name matches what you have defined in your 'IOServer' definitions. The 'IOserver' name is case sensitive in PLScada 7.20 but it is not case sensitive in PLScada 7.10.
This issue appeared during a migration from PLScada 7.10 to PLScada 7.20. The devices were added to excel manually where the IOServer name define in the project were ("IOServer1 and "IOServer2") but when adding the devices to the 'Units.dbf', the IOserver names filled were ("IOserver1" and IOserver2"). The project worked fine in PLScada 7.10 but didn't work in PLScada 7.20. As soon as we changed the names to ("IOServer1 and "IOServer2") in the 'units.dbf' the project worked fine.
