Cause:
Documentation regarding VRLA battery storage that are used in the MGE EPS product line. However, most manufacturers have the same policy.
Resolution:
Shelf life is 6 months at 77F. This is assuming the batteries were fully charged when shipped.
Storing batteries at temps above 77F will require more frequent boosting. This is pretty much the industry standard for these larger VRLAs.
