Resolution:
Main constraint: the generator must deliver the starting current with the minimum variation of the voltage frequency and drop voltage, in all cases within the tolerances written in the catalog.
So, the power of the generators depends on the acceleration ramp and the current limitation set in the ATS48.
Once the motor is working at its nominal power, the generator delivers the nominal current of the motor.
Generally, 2 times the motor power is enough.
The generator power can be decreased (optimized) if the cycles of the application are well known and if it's sure it will not change in the future.
