How can we use Encoder on Lexium Controller without axis on the Motion Bus ?
As long as you don't declare:
- a real "BusInterface" with the drive "Lexium Controller Motion Bus"
- and an "AxisGroup" in the "PLC Configuration"
You cannot use the External Encoder structure into the program, but you still have access to the encoder position in increments.
In the attachment file, you will find a programming example and a documentation which explains this behavior and show how to configure your Lexium Controller.
