MiCOM Px4x Power and/or Reactive Power showing incorrect sign
Issue
When monitoring power (kW) or reactive power (kVAR) on a MiCOM Px4x, the sign is negative when positive is expected or vice versa. Wiring has been confirmed to be correct and readings are showing correctly otherwise.

Cause
The measurement mode setting is set incorrectly.
Resolution
The measurement mode default setting for a relay, and the setting that would apply to most customers, is 0. However the chart below shows other settings that are available for configuring the relay.
