Is it possible to associate multiple alarms with a single DA Tag in the Event Notification Module Alarm Sentry Component?
Issue:
A user would like to associate multiple alarms with a single DA Tag in the Alarm Sentry component of the Event Notification Module.
The Alarm Sentry Configuration appears to state that this is possible. The following is an excerpt from the Alarm Sentry Configuration Guide.
"Transitions between states such as Hi to HiHi are effective immediately upon detection. To enforce delays for a specific level, create separate alarms for the same source DA tag and specify a limit for the desired level only. "

Resolution:
- It is not possible to associate multiple alarms with a single DA Tag in the Event Notification Module Alarm Sentry component
- It is only possible to associate a single alarm per DA tag in Alarm Sentry. In the case of an analog alarm, the alarm can be triggered on up to four states (HiHi, Hi, Lo, LoLo)
- The above-cited wording in the Alarm Sentry Configuration guide is not correct and will be updated
Note:
Starting with PME 2020, ENM as a standalone module was replaced by a fully integrated Notifications feature inside the PME Web Application.
