To determine the size of fuse to use with a Magelis HMI, we use the basic formula as follows:
Fuse Rating = (Max # watts / Voltage) x 1.25.
For the example of the HMIG3U + HMIDT732, the max draw is 55W.
Therefore, we have Fuse Rating = (55W / 24 VDC) x 1.25 = 2.89 A => 3 A fuse recommended.
