SUMMARY:
Project Managers will be held accountable that all projects are completed via the CPP.b process
and that all project documents are stored on Studio 360.
o Specific focus on the following
Project Charters
Project Management Plans
Material Transmittals Signed
Controls Project Schedules
· Project Managers will conduct all departmental reviews / turnovers during each stage of the
project (Sale to Ops, Ops to Sales design, Ops to Service).
· Fully accountable for the quality of the project execution through proper documentation
Financial Management
· Help drive better working capital by developing proper SOV’s
· Provide accurate CTC forecasting each month and attend your monthly project reviews
· Maintain Net $0 GM variance on assigned project portfolio
· Solicit, manage, and secure change orders for all scope deviation at or above booked margin
· Maintain project schedules and proper delay documentation
· Identify project risk and develop / drive risk mitigation plan
· Identify project opportunities and develop execution efficiency plans
Team Management
As a Project Manager I strive to meet our customer goals and get team results with the right sense of
urgency.
- I hold regular team meetings and share information in a straightforward way, I listen to their
input
- I keep meeting notes for continuous progression and follow up
- I inspire my team by sharing and cascading the Schneider Electric vision and strategy, both form
the national level and the branch level and help each of them understand how they contribute
- I spend time with and mentor team members
- I keep the team focused on the team goals and review them at appropriate frequencies
- I help the team prioritize tasks and remove their roadblocks
- I work with them to understand their challenges and provide solutions
- Conduct One on Ones at least once a month
- Strong Focus on People Retainage
o Recognize and react to both problem and key employees in a timely manor
o Develop Proper Training plans (SMART Goals / 3E Development Approach)
- Proper forecasting of manpower planning / fully accountable for team’s utilization goals
