As our Services Tender Engineer you are responsible for bid and offer processes.
What do you get to do in this position?
Analysis and opportunity assessment of tenders and customer requirements.
Controlling and accompanying the entire bid process of customer tenders.
You will support our New Business Teams in creating offers for companies of all sizes and industries.
You will take over the entire management of the bidding process within specified timelines.
You will write or revise proposal texts in compliance with the CoachHub-CI guidelines. In addition, you will develop creative concepts and implement the offers and offer presentations graphically in cooperation with the graphics department and, if necessary, external agencies.
Timely submission of the offer according to customer requirements.
The Services Tender Engineer works in close co-operation with the Business Development department and is involved from the earliest prequalification phase until contract award and hand-over to the project team. The Jumbo organization is characterized by short communication lines and an entrepreneurial atmosphere where freedom to act is given to people that are willing to step up and take responsibility.
Qualifications
The main responsibilities of the Tender Engineer are:
• work with the Business Development department in generating new business through prequalification, development of new work scopes;
• assess and review ITT documentation and develop qualifications, clarify commercial and/or technical issues with clients;
• prepare proposal documents and co-ordinate input of the different departments within Jumbo;
• develop a cost budget for the projects;
• obtain the approval of the Tender Board within Jumbo;
• clarify and negotiate proposals with clients;
• conduct commercial and contractual negotiations with the client;
• hand-over the contract to the projects department for execution of the work.
