ASCO Inside Sales Rep
Job Description

JOB SUMMARY :
Work to develop long-term relationships with Schneider Electric Reps and Electrical Distributors throughout the US. Provide product expertise and technical assistance on the ASCO/SE product line to all levels within the sales channel and prepare quotes and sales proposals. Work as a team with the SE Reps to grow and hit targeted sales growth within the entire US.
- Proactive selling, fact finding, and marketing with key distributors
- Sales and technical assistance to SE Reps and distributors
- Troubleshoot with end-users, Contractors, Distributors, ASCO/SE personnel
Project follow up and assistance through completion with SE Reps and Distributors
- Daily relationship building with SE Reps and Distributors
- Generate custom proposals for Distributors and SE Reps
- Prepare quotes and submittals
- Faithfully conduct follow-ups of quoted projects
Promote holistic surge protection solutions that include recommending ASCO/SE branded surge protectors
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Spec Interpretation
- Proper Application of SPDs
- Understanding of ASCO/SE product line categories along with competitor’s product offerings
- Understanding of SPD Installation
- Willingness to serve all clients and customers
- Educate and serve electrical distributors and SE Reps and Distributor Sales Engineers with the intention to build long-term relationships
- Assist contractors with installation questions and troubleshoot SPD issues
- Internal interactions with other ASCO/SE departments to communicate project status, for engineering assistance, and for expediting orders and customer inquiries

- Minimum two years sales experience including both inbound and outbound calls
- Minimum 2 years technical customer service experience
- 2 Year degree preferred
