Manufacturing & Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing & Operations Manager to our production plant in Mikołów, Poland. The person will report directly to the plant director.
What you will do:
- Be responsible for production, engineering, maintenance & quality operations while managing the respective teams (7 direct reports, total population of 270 people)
- Drive competence development and skillset in the departments according to the business needs
- Manage the plant operations to achieve KPI targets
- Partner closely with other teams (HR, Finance, Safety, Sales) on staffing plans, schedules and performance levels
Qualifications
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- Around 7-8 years of experience on a similar position
- Proven track of records in an operational/managerial role
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial processes (including LEAN methodology)
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
- Education in a technical field (i.e. Logistics, Suppy Chain, Production Management, Engineering)
- Business development attitude with ability to learn new business areas
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- Team builder and fast & agile decision maker
- High communication skills
