How do I address external battery frames connected to a Symmetra LX system that features an integrated extended run (XR) cabinet?

Environment
Symmetra LX with built-in XR frame only (for example, SYA16K16PXR or SYAF16KXR9T)


Cause
Because of the integrated XR frame, addressing may not be intuitive.  This document describes the correct addressing scheme to ensure proper operation.


Resolution
The user must set the first external extended runtime cabinet to "3" vs the normal "2" setting. The built-in battery cabinet acts as frame "2" even though it is integrated into the mainframe.
