LV Electrical Customer Project Technical Senior Engineer

Job description, responsibilities and duties:

Engineering Excellence Center in Bratislava is looking for motivated individuals who wish to succeed in the position of LV Customer Project Technical  Senior Engineer in a highly specialized team of professionals with the focus on the projects in Electrical distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

* Participate in end to end process of an assigned industrial project from Technical and time point of view

* Acts as the leader of the technical content of the assigned workpackage(s), and functionally reports to Technical Senior Engineer and Project Manager responsible for the whole Project

* Assuming technical responsibility for a complete subset: studies, follow of IG/OG factories and commissioning 

* Make sure customer technical requirements are fulfilled in terms of performance, quality, costs and delivery time in compliance with the contract and technical specifications defined during tendering stage

* Leads “Customer Project Senior Technicians” working in the assigned workpackage(s)

* Follow all technical aspects of customer integrated projects such as Design, implementation, testing, FAT, IFAT and provide advises for installation commissioning on site
* Participating actively in the capitalization and sharing of experience
* Maintaining technical theoretical and applied skills in the domain 
* Contributing to technical innovation and productivity

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree) in electrical / electrotechnical field is a must

Educational Specialization

Electrical / Power electrical engineering overview and experience on LV Technology

Intermediate knowledge about Power electric protection, Protection relays and control systems is a must

Driving license: Driver license B Required

Personality requirements and skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant area (Power system studies, electrical substation, electrical transmission, Power transformers, Renewable Energy Generation, Datacenter, Oil and Gas, Mining)

• Confirmed experience with any of the Schneider Power Equipment for LV Distribution panels(Blokset, Okken, Prisma, etc.), Protection relays(SEPAM, Micom, Easergy, etc.), AC and DC UPS(APC or Gutor), UPS battery system, Motor Starter(Motorpact), Busduct systems (Canalis, I-Line, etc.), MV/LV and LV/LV Transformers, Earthing transformers or VSD(Altivar process) is an advantage
• Confirmed experience in any competitor range of equipment (ABB, Siemens, etc.) is an advantage

• Confirmed experience in any competitor range of protection relays (Schweizer Engineering Laboratories, GE Protection relays, ABB, Siemens, Iskra, etc) is an advantage
• Technical experience with communication protocols (IEC61850, Modbus protocol, OPC protocol, etc.) is an advantage

• Intermediate or advanced level in EPLAN P8 is an advantage
• Intermediate level of use of Microsoft Office as minimum level is a must
• Flexibility & Relaiability, focus on technical details, team player, goal keeper

• Willingness to travel up to 30% in EMEAS Region
• Potential to work on a long time base abroad mission 6 to 12 months (Optional)

Languages required:
• English at least at B2 level (written and spoken) is a must

• Fluency(Min B2 level) in French and or Spanish and or German and or Russian is an advantage
