Zero emissions data centre cools servers with gravity-enabled sea water distribution

The Green Mountain data centre in Norway relies exclusively on renewable energies and produces zero CO2 emissions. Located in a former NATO bunker deep inside a mountain, the colocation company worked with Schneider Electric to implement this "green" data centre. The solution includes DCIM tools and control components – and uses gravity to bring the cold water of an adjacent fjord to the data centre's cooling station.
