Tutorial for toggling the power saving display mode on APC Back-UPS Pro RS/XS/NS G & M models to automatically disable the front display or configure the display for always-on operation.

Cause:
It may be desired to disable the display when the UPS is in normal operation to avoid visual distraction. Alternately, one may wish to configure the UPS to always illuminate the display for status at-a-glance.
Resolution:
To toggle the power saver display mode, press and hold the MENU button for 2 seconds until a beep is heard. The default behavior to keep the display active at all times.
