Why are CVS upstream and downstream customer connections (terminal) different in thickness?
This is what the design is. The thickness of upstream and downstream connection is not the same, while the connection location is the same as shown in the picture below, for CVS400/630, the dimension C1=C2=26, which make sure the firm connection of the same cable or bar on upstream and downstream connection.
