Enhance safety and continuity of service of your electrical equipment

The new Acti9 iPRD1 DIN rail Surge Protection Devices (SPD) range is designed to protect your electrical installations and buildings from surges due to direct and indirect lightning strikes. It increases safety, boosts efficiency, and improves business continuity, even in the most demanding environments.Acti9 iPRD1 SPD has a sustainable design with easy maintenance, output dry contacts for remote monitoring, and versions for TT, TN-S, TN-C, and IT earthing systems, extending your equipment efficiency and life.
Benefits
Benefits
Easy to select and install
• Type 1+2 universal products offer a wide scope of use in main and sub-distribution boards.• Compact versions reduce in half space used by the device into the panelboard.• Self-protected versions with embedded backup fuse avoid specific external disconnectors.• Reduction of cable quantity and complexity.• Easier implementation of “50 cm max.” length rule for connection cables.
High performance protection
• Voltage protection level (Up) ≤ 1,5kV, offers efficient protection for sensitive loads with overvoltage category I (OVC I).• Impulse discharge current (Iimp), up to 35 kA, ensures high discharge capacity in case of direct lightning strikes.• Short-circuit current rating (Isccr), up to 75 kA, enables to withstand high prospective short-circuit fault currents.
Continuity of service
• End-of-life remote signaling brings peace of mind and more efficient maintenance.• Already certified coordination of integrated backup protection with declared upstream circuit breakers and fuses disconnectors.• Nominal discharge capacity (In), up to 35 kA, ensures better protection longevity.
