Schneider Electric & Autodesk are partnering in order to develop a new product to ease the design of electrical networks in the BIM environment. This is a very ambitious and promising partnership where the alliance of Autodesk and Schneider Electric respective expertise will allow us to release on the market a software that will support our customers from conceptual design to detailed design to enable their economic growth and overall business efficiency while designing more sustainable buildings. In this context, we are looking for a Product Manager.


The Product Manager is responsible for product planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle.


He/She will develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and their own industry insight.


He/She will work closely with Development/Engineering and other teams to deliver products that align with this vision, meet market needs and are delivered to a consistently high-quality standard.


He/She will develop a forecast for the product based on input from marketing, sales, market analysts and their own experience and manage its delivery.


He/She will identify the key benefits and value of products. This will be used to create and maintain marketing plans and collateral (including web updates, product training materials and sales training).






  • Define business objectives and strategy of the product, incl. defining business targets, main partner and SE channels, and countries 
  • Define and own the product roadmap and success metrics and KPIs
  • Define the value proposition and business model, incl. benefits and monetization 

  • Complete competitive analysis, qualitative and quantitative market research and User Acceptance Experience testing to maintain industry leadership in this area  
  • Define the marketing and channel strategy 
  • Drive, coordinate and be responsible for the development and maintenance of viable global high level functional requirements, incl. business logic, main input & output, main integration points, user flow / journey and SE product scope 
  • Define the local, country and customization requirements 
  • Define the epics & user stories and prioritize the backlog 
  • Define acceptance criteria and SLA and maintenance requirements 
  • Communicate with key SE key account managers of SE main partner channels to secure buy-in of partners 
  • Plan and carry out product launches

This job might be for you if: 




  • Business management skills of online channels

  • Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills and driving change

  • Strong knowledge of digitization within the electric industry and especially on the BIM

  • Responsive and energetic people management skills with a positive attitude

  • A strong team player who collaborates and demonstrates leadership by example

  • Ability to clearly communicate functional requirements and roadmaps

  • Ability to negotiate with countries, partners and prioritize

  • Knowledge of Electrical design would be a plus

  • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.

  • Effectiveness in a cross-cultural environment 

  • Fluent in English      

Qualification & Experience: 
  • Marketing Master or Engineering degree

  • 5+ years of experience as Product Manager in the BIM environment

  • Previous experience of Agile
