    • This Enabling Movement with Safety Controller solution provides an efficient way to build machine safety. The Preventa XPSMC safety controller enables the creation of the safety circuit.
    • The documentation provides: wiring diagram, schematic diagram, explanation of application and the safety reliability calculations. The safety chain solution supports the creation of safety architectures with a Category 4 architecture PL e EN/ISO13849-1 and SIL 3 EN/IEC 62061 for enabling movement function.
    • The enabling movement function is used to keep the operator’s hands outside the hazardous area during machine operation. Movement is initiated when both actuators are activated synchronously, energizing the contactors (K1 and K2). If one or both of the two pushbuttons are released, the contactors are de-energized until both actuators are released and pressed again synchronously.
