The Galaxy VS, Galaxy VM, Galaxy VL, Galaxy VX, and Galaxy VXL UPSs offer a unique type of high efficiency mode: eConversion, which offers enhanced protection while delivering highest efficiency. The eConversion mode offers such a good combination of performance and efficiency that it is recommended to be used by default in the 3-phase Galaxy V series UPSs. This application note explains the benefits of operating in eConversion mode, compared with other operating modes.
