Avi files do work in Vista with a limitation (and are supported in Grouping Objects in PME 7.2 WebReach with IE) which is Vista can only display AVI clips originating from either an uncompressed AVI file or from an AVI file that was compressed using run-length (BI_RLE8) encoding. Also the AVI file must not have a sound channel.
